Hyd's PVR Group Booked For 300Cr. Fraud

Scam by scam is hitting Andhra Pradesh like a tsunami and here comes another land-grabbing and cheating scam. This time the accused is realtor and Hyderabad's most popular mall builder PVR!

A case was registered by the construction giant DLF that the PVR Malls have cheated them for 300 crore rupees. This is in connection with the assigning of land to DLF for which they will develop it into mall and give a share to PVR. For the six projects DLF has associated with, the PVR owners are accounted for a cheating of the above said amount. As the CCS police are searching for the owners and partners of PVR, Gowri Shankar Gupta, Gopal Gupta and Sarita Gupta, the accused are absconding.

Sources say that they have already fled to foreign countries where the Govt. of India is not having any extradition policy. Earlier there were accusations against PVR that the company got the required licenses through illegal ways by bribing politicians to build shopping complexes in the city.
