Taapsee Pannu has denied a few Kannada projects, since she found it tough to accommodate dates thanks to her prior commitments in Kollywood, Tollywood and Bollywood.

The ‘Aadukalam’ actress, who was recently in the news for walking out of ‘Madha Gaja Raja’, is busy doing Telugu films. Also, her Hindi debut ‘Chasme Badoor’ is gearing up to hit the screens.

She says: “It is true that I was approached for few Kannada projects. Frankly speaking, I have no time for anything new now. So I explained my situation to them.

A few days ago, the ‘Vandhan Vendraan’ girl issued a denial to media reports, which suggested that she was in a relationship with Telugu actor Manoj. “We are friends. Not just Manoj, his sister (Lakshmi Manchu) too is my good friend,” Taapsee signs off.

The single bench judge H G Ramesh on Thursday shifted the film ‘Satyananda’ said to have been made on life sketch of ‘Nithayanada’ to the regional censor board. The judge has permitted one of the Nityananda Swami members to be at the censor screening of the film ‘Satyananda’.

That is not enough says producer Madan Patel. I have asked for the change in the Regional Censor Officer K Nagaraju to watch ‘Satyananda’ film. Patel fears biased opinion. In April last year BJP politician, actor, director and producer Madan Patel in the center of controversy for his film ‘Satyananda’ has made a direct attack on the Regional Censor Officer K Nagaraju for demanding Rs.50000 for two songs certification and Rs.5 lakhs for the film certification of ‘Satyananda’.

After the single bench asking for the censor board to sort out the problems the problem continues for producer cum director of ‘Satyananda’. He wants change of regional censor officer to view his film. K Nagaraju the Regional Censor Officer would not do justice to my film feels Madan Patel.

Renuka Enterprises ‘Mutthina Hani’ has been given ‘U’ certificate by Regional Censor Board and it is all set for release in the month of July 2012.

The audio of ‘Beat’ (spelt as BEET) Kannada cinema was released at Bowring Institute by Yashas Films with not much of jubilant mood. The Bowring institute managing committee members were present at the audio release of ‘Beat’ and former cop Shankaranarayan compared the police beet and love beat the film referred for the title.

Although it was not a striking audio release event the talkative Harshika Poonachcha and silent Ajith Patre key actors of the film, producer Raju YK filled the time before the audio release after the screening of two songs.

Producer Raju recalled the days of his father seeing film and how in his younger days curiously watching artists behind the screen out of innocence. Raju trained in Abhinaya Tharanga in direction stated that a producer is like a fuel and driver of the vehicle is director.

Ajith of Patre Love Padma with a series of films on hand ‘Kalaya Thasmai Nahama, Yee Bhumi Aa Banu’ worked with the director of this film on the script department to give good heart beat to the audience from this film.

Harshika Poonachcha politely mentioned the role for her in this film ‘Beat’ as very silent one. She is a Malleswaram area girl in the film while the hero Ajith is Srirampura boy. I am soft and less in talk while Ajith is rough in this film. With not much of dialogues it was challenging for me. There was a good home work from the producer that helped in shooting stated Harshika Poonacha.

Music director Shakthi Prasad has materialized his dream of becoming a music director since 12 years. Director of the movie ‘Beat’ Ghanshyam thanked producer for not making urgency to shoot. A popular film, successful film that earned over Rs.8 crores profit for the producer Suresh ‘Govindaya Namaha’ within 100 days is telecast in Zee Kannada Cinema. That means all the rules and regulations are thrown in the wind.

According to the KFCC ruling the film that made business and in profits should come to television after one year (previously it was two years).

Many of the Kannada films that flopped in the box office took special permission for screening in TV. Thanks to the middleman operating in this line.

How come a well run film is also coming in the TV so quickly? On June 30 at 5.30 the film ‘Govindaya Namaha’ is telecast in Zee Kannada. On July 1 it is re telecast in Zee Kannada.

Pawan Wadeyar debut film was a shoe string budget cinema. This film was screened in New Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and it was well received.

‘Govindaya Namaha’ has opened up a new system of payment for the artist. For this film actor Komalkumar took a few areas for distribution in lieu his remuneration. Komalkumar remuneration increased manifold from this new system he has accepted.

What about the remuneration for new director Pawan Wadeyar? Nothing has been paid to the director in the form of remuneration says the sources.

The clash between actress Nayana Krishna and director Rishi of ‘Kotlalloppo Kai’ has now been amicably settled. Actress Nayana Krishna invested on the film ‘KK’ and when she asked for the return of it the clash went up to the level of beating.

Now actress Nayanakrishna holds the film rights from ‘Ice Pictures’. Prashanth Pande joins Nayanakrishna as partner producer. Nayanakrishna before the start of the film contributed Rs.10 lakhs and now she has invested Rs.30 lakhs for the film. Now the actress Nayanakrishna has the complete rights of the film. I am distributing the film. Nayana Krishna agrees that the clash evolved with the director on the financial matter. The profit of this film will be equally shared with Venkatesh, Prasad and Nayanakrishna. ‘KK’ is now at the censor stage. The DI for the film has been completed.

He is the famous hero of our Kannada cinema industry. Kishore has been a common factor in most of the recent Prof Baraguru Ramchandrappa movies. He started off with ‘Ugragami’ and acted in ‘Bhagirathi’ as partner to beautiful Bhavana. It is a sacrifice saga in ‘Bhagirathi’ for Kishore after his better half jumps to lake that he formed with her.

Kishore has high hopes on ‘Bhagirathi’ a folk tale. The subject is very relevant to this day because lot of effort is made to spruce up lakes. For the making of ‘Bhagirathi’ producer BK Srinivas has provided everything. I am lucky because senior actor Kumar Govind got this offer but he suggested my name. There was a horse riding for the first time in my life shooting for ‘Bhagirathi’ remembered Kishore.

The surprise I got in my life is the state award for my performance in ‘Suicide’ Kannada film. This is something like dreaming of diamond jewelries and owning an Audi car in life. My happiness is immeasurable says the talented television actress Kalyani who got the best actress award in the recent state announcement.

Speaking to media persons on Thursday afternoon the actress pointed that the power of the role in ‘Suicide’ – the series of ups and downs of the character might have impressed the Jury of state award. Against the actresses like Ramya and Radhika Pandit in the race getting the award is not an easy task she knows pretty well.

From now on ‘I want to make a mark in more meaningful roles’. This award has kept me in some sort of tension. I am not getting the sleep properly. It is a pleasure filled disturbance says Kalyani.

Vasundhara in ‘Suicide’ Kannada cinema has emotional trauma in it. Finally the film says suicide is not the final answer. His 5 feet 9 inches younger brother Amaranath is the main hero of the film. It the saga of four youths who are working as slaves in the quarrying factory.

‘Sadhakaru’ Kannada cinema went on the floor on Wednesday at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Balaepet.  Producer of the film is KS Suresh. Chalanachitra Academy Chairperson Tara sounded the clap board while Dinesh Gundu Rao MLA switched on the camera. Councilor Shivakumar was also present.

Somanath was identified for films by producer Shilpa Srinivas for ‘Romeo Juliet’ Kannada cinema and Somanath acted in ‘Heart Beats’ as his next film. Valmiki, Aadhi, Beladingalagi Baa continued his career. He has acted in nearly 20 films so far. He considers director MS Ramesh as his mentor. It is from my Guru MS Ramesh I learnt the basics of direction thanks Somanath.

Four youths in this ‘Sadhakaru’ raise their voice against slavery. Gauri Venkatehs is cameraman and Kiran Bhat scores the music for the lyrics of Sumathi Jayaram. Young Pawan is the dialogue writer.

The eminent actress of India and politician Dr Jayaprada in her maiden address on her prominent role in ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna ’ feels her dream come true.

The role of Kittur Rani Chennamma was lingering in my mind when I entered the Rajya Sabha first a few years ago. In the Rajya Sabha there is a big portrait of ‘Kittur Rani Chennamma’ who fought against the British to get freedom to the country. I was hoping in that role on silver screen when I saw the portrait. That has come true after a few years say Dr Jayaprada the pride of South India.

I believe strongly that Kittur Rani Chennamma blessed me to take on the role for silver screen. She was like tigress. For such a valiant person equally strong dialogues came up from dialogue writer Keshav Aditya mentioned Dr Jayaprada.

After getting the offer three and half years ago I first inquired with my friend and actress in Karnataka Smt Vijayalakshmi Singh. She just asked me to close the eyes and accept without any blinking. Today I consider the role of Kittur Rani Chennamma as one more feather in the cap. I have acted with Darshan in ‘E Bandhana’ with Dr Vishnuvardhana as counterpart. That was directed by Vijayalakshmi Singh. Now I have acted with Darshan once again says the pride of the country.        

The nature of Kittur Rani Chennamma is sacrificing for the country. It is so close to me in real life adds the actress Dr Jayaprada.

He says his life and progress is because of ‘Sangolli Rayanna’ the historical warrior who fought against the British Empire with Rani Kittur Chennamma.

The film main focus is ‘Love to Country’. This is what the youngster can take from this film and everything is told in dashing style in 3 hours cinema of ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’.

The film is set for release on August 15, the birthday day of Sangolli Rayanna and also it is so apt because of Indian Independence says Darshan speaking to media after the formal address.
