Young Hero Karthi waiting for strike to end

Director Suraaj has announced that his next Alex Pandian will go to floors shortly. The film stars Karthi and Anushka. The crew is waiting for strike to end in Kollywood to start the shoot.

On choosing a Rajini title, he says, 'I just thought of this title, as it was my favorite Rajini character. Rajini’s film names are attractive and I always think of his film names before finalizing the titles of my films.'
Karthi’s role has got nothing to do with Rajini’s character. His role is completely different. We have erected sets depicting a local market in the city. The shoot will commence soon, he adds.
