Shankar 3 Rascals out of pongal race:Cinejwala:

Star director Shankar’s first ever remake film 3 Rascals is officially out of pongal race. Though, the reason for the postponement is not known, we are predicting that due to the scarcity of theaters the makers have made this decision. For this pongal there is tough competition in the form of Business Man, Bodyguard and Poola Rangadu. The makers of Poolarangadu already announced that the movie is releasing in 450 screens.

On the other side, Panjaa and Rajanna are making their way to the theaters on 9th and 23rd respectively. With this kind of competition getting good theaters will be definitely a problem. One of the heroes of the film who plays Aamir Khan’s character Vijay is not popular in Andhra Pradesh is another reason for the makers to opt out of pongal race. Jeeva and Sriram are also playing heroes of the film, while Ileana is the heroine.

Now, the news is that the movie is slated for release on January 26.
