'Chingari' is Remake of 'Taken' - Darshan :Cinejwala:

The challenging star Darshan has accepted two of his films – Sarathi and Chingari are remakes. This news coming from Darshan was not expected although it is accepted in the masses as remakes.

I do agree ‘Taken’ is taken for ‘Chingari’. When director Harsha narrated the script I was really moved. When my brother Dinakar saw a resemblance in one of his films viewing in HBO channel he called up and said this is the film I am doing with Harsha. I was shooting for ‘Boss’ at that time. I came back home and saw the ‘Taken’ film. I called up Harsha and told that he has done a good script and he is seeing what he had told. Harsha was also surprised when I said like that Darshan remembered.

Darshan has admitted that the film ‘Sarathi’ is ‘Lion King’ Kannada version. The happy star today with two consecutive hits Darshan addressing the media stated that here is a distributor Prasad who has told perfectly what the collection in the first week. I am so happy for it said Darshan. Remaking English or a Korean film the nativity aspect is kept in mind. Harsha was definite in his outlook and he has solid mind set complimented Darshan.
