Anubhav optimistic of passing the legal tangle :Cinejwala:

Recently a known television producer-director Yash Patnaik caused trouble for Bollywood’s biggest and most expensive film ‘Ra.One’ as he threatened to stall the release of the film. He had claimed that the concept of the film was originally developed by him and it was copied by the creative team of SRK’s production house ‘Red Chilies’.

He took them to court and demanded a hefty compensation. As the film has huge money riding on it, the High Court refused to stall the release the film but however asked them to deposit an enormous sum of Rs. 1 crore with the court until the matter is discussed. However film’s director Anubhav Sinha is confident that his film will sail through the thick and thins of time as he is confident of his work. He further declared that the film is his brainchild as he has worked on its story for three long years and no one can defame it in that way. The director even stated a valid point that may act in their favor.

He declared that the concept of the film has been in news since last one year and the promotions of the same have been all over since last five months. Hence if the complainant’s argue was authentic then he could have had come before and not at the time of film’s release.

He further sounded optimistic and revealed that he believed the film’s producers will get back the deposited amount and will clear the tangle without much fuss. Well let’s just hope so.
