Ilayaraja is India's one music director who revolutionised music bringing blend of creativity with his unique compositions with classical, Indian and Western flavor.
He introduced many beats much to the delight of music lovers and was the first to perform symphony at London Music college. He is revered as knowledge of music or Isaignani.
Now this music maestro's crown will be decorated with another jewel. London Olympics will be having Ilayaraja's music representing India.
Each country will be having its own music to showcase its rich culture and tradition as per the tradtions followed at Olympics and this time Ilayaraja's composition sung by SP.Balasubramayam will be played at London.
The song 'Naan Daan Ungappaada' from Ram Lakshman's film has been selected as India's olympic song. Dane Boyel of Slumdog Millionniare fame will be organising the event.
