'Kushi' Magic For Nitin's 'Ishq'

'Ishq' released with high expectations to wave off the bad-luck engulfing young hero Nitin and strikingly mesmeric Nitya Menon. More than that, the movie had won the likes of people who have earlier adored Powerstar's 'Kushi'.

Other than Nitin's improvised acting skills and the gorgeous looks of Nitya Menon, Cinematographer PC Sreeram has spell bound the audiences with his visual magic. The camera angles and vibrant montages shot for 'Ishq' takes you back to something like a Mani Ratnam's or Rajeev Menon's. PC has earlier done same kind of magic for Pawan's 'Kushi' in Telugu and the movie's success surely got him a lion's share.
Director Vikram is also getting appreciations for his 'romance' laced narration which is hugely supported by PC's splendid work. After Maniratnam's 'Sakhi' and Pawan's 'Kushi' this is the best work of PC for a romantic love story till date, a noted critic shared. However, the magic of 'Kushi' in terms of collections is not working out for this film for now and final figures after this weekend will decide its fate!
