The CBI Court is going to hear the petition filed by the CBI sleuths requesting the court for permitting them to conduct narco analysis (brain mapping) test on the prime accused in the illegal assets case, Jaganmohan Reddy today. It is known that when the judicial custody of Jaganmohan Reddy was completed on June 11, he was produced before the court by Chanchalguda Jail. On the same day, CBI slueths filed petition in the CBI Court seeking narco analysis test. However, Jaganmohan Reddy's advocates were seriously opposed to this and raised the issue of contempt of court citing Supreme Court's verdict on narco analysis tests. The CBI Court then asked the counsels of Jaganmohan Reddy to file a counter petition and posted the hearing to June 14. On June 14, counsels of Jagan filed a counter petition with the court. The CBI Court then deferred the hearing to June 21.
Meanwhile, there's also another petition filed by ED (Enforcement Directorate) requesting court that they be given permission for enquiring Jaganmohan Reddy for alleged foreign investments.
