Two infants among 4 killed in wall collapse :Andhra

Two women workers and two children were killed in a wall collapse at a construction site in Nizamabad town of Andhra Pradesh today.

The incident occurred at around 11.30 am when the workers were involved in digging at a construction site.

The wall of the adjacent old building caved in, killing two women labourers and two infants on the spot, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rammohan Rao, told PTI.
Two other workers suffered minor injuries.

Senior officials including Collector D Vara Prasad and Superintendent of Police Ramakrishnaiah rushed to the spot.

Two persons, the site owner and an engineer, had been arrested and probe was on, the DSP added.
