Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar paid rich tributes to 'The Wall' Rahul Dravid, who is likely to announce his retirement from International Cricket on Friday.
"I have shared many of my best moments with Rahul in the middle. Our many century partnerships are a testimony to the hours we spent together," said Sachin.
"For someone who played 164 test matches and scored 13,200 plus runs, no tribute can be enough. All I can say is there was, and is, only one Rahul Dravid and there can be no other. I will miss him in the dressing room and out in the middle," he added.
Dravid is second highest run getter in Tests with 13,288 runs at an average of 52.31. He had 36 Test centuries, 63 half centuries under his belt. His highest scores in Tests is 270. He took 210 catches, which is the highest for any other player in the Test history .
Dravid made his debut against England at Lord's in 1996 and captained India from December 2005 to August 2007. It may be recalled that Dravid had already announced his retirement from ODIs and Twenty20s.
