Sallu Bhai to play Lord Krishna

Akshay Kumar was dogged by a problem all these days, and that was who will play God in his forthcoming flick Oh My God. Then the answer suddenly hit him: Salman Khan, who else?

Sallu’s consent to play the role has laid Akshay’s anxiety to rest. A source in the industry confirmed that Salman has “almost” agreed to play the role of Lord Krishna in the film. . While Akshay has already begun shooting, Salman will be joining after finishing with his home production Dabangg 2.
Incidentally, Akki had approached Shah Rukh Khan as well which led to rumours of a possible clash of the titans. However, Sallu’s spontaneous consent to the role saved the day for Akki. Now, with that over and done with, director Ashvini Yardi is ironing out the creases to ensure that the tale and the role suits Salman Khan’s style. Oh My God has been adapted from the critically acclaimed Gujarati play, Kanji Viruddh Kanji. The plot talks about an atheist played by Akshay Kumar who suffers losses due to an earthquake and files a case against God asking him to compensate him for the loss.
