Sachin Tendulkar showered praises on his teammate Virat Kohli, who played match winning knocks in the Asutalia tour and the recent Bangladesh tour. However, Sachin is concerned about the pressure mounted on the young cricketer after the blistering innings of 133 runs against Srilanka in Australia and 183 runs against Pakistan in Bangladesh.
"He is a very good player. He is a brilliant player. He has done well but all I can say is don't put pressure on him. Let him play," said Sachin.
It may be recalled that Kohli paid rich tributes to Sachin, who scored his 100th hundred recently, by writing a letter to the legendary cricketer calling him as his hero. "People crave to shake hands with you, get your autographs, have a picture clicked and here I am so abundantly lucky to be sharing a dressing room with you. To get to know you personally has been a huge honour," wrote Kohli, in his letter.
