No Cure For Gunasekhar's 'Virus'

If you thought that director Gunasekhar is just reviving from the burns he received through 'Nippu', then you are wrong. The flop director is planning for another mega-budgeted movie!

Most flops of Gunasekhar are due to the sprawling high budgets which look nowhere near a recoverable position. Still, the director is infected with this 'big-budget-virus' and is trying to make a pre-historic flick with a mammoth budget. Citing reasons like Hollywood graphics and superior quality, this director is planning to find another 'producer' for 40 crore rupees, is the industry talk. GS is coming up with a project titled 'Rani Rudrama', a historical subject and is said to be making this in 'stereoscopic 3D'. Critics are asserting, 'People have not forgotten his NIPPU effect yet and the director is readying for another attack'.
Gunasekhar should first prove that he is still worth entertaining audiences with a beautiful movie like 'Manoharam', they added. A noted distributor also stated that it is not easy to recover such giant budgets these days, no one comes to theatre if directors construct a 20 crore set or ropes in a 5 crore heroine. For now, there is no cure for his 'big-budget-virus', but let us watch how things shape up in the near future.
