Kalaignar TV Bags Aravaan Film Satellite Rights

Vasantha Balan’s historical drama Aravan is gearing up for a March release.

While distribution rights are sold already, satellite rights remained pending and that deal seems to be over now. Kalaignar TV grabbed the television rights of Aravaan for an undisclosed amount.

Following this, the channel will start telecasting promo material for preceding the movie’s release, including trailers and song promos.
Aravaan is based on the Sahitya Academy winning writer Su. Venkatesan’s novel Kaaval Kottam.

Aadhi, Dhansika, Archana Kavi, Pasupathy and Kabir Bedi play lead roles in the movie. With Aravaan, playback singer Karthik debuts as a music composer.
