FIR against Actress Genelia D'Souza for making false promises

Newly married actor Genelia D'Souza seems to be in for some trouble.  A Hyderabad court has directed the local police to file an FIR against actor.

According to reports, this seems to be the follow up action after a complaint was filed against her for being the brand ambassador of a Hyderabad based real estate firm, which is said to have duped people after grabbing their land.

In his complaint, the complainant has accused Genelia of making false promises through ads and brochures of the real estate agent.

Meanwhile, Genelia has reportedly denied being part of any such scam and has claimed that she just did an off shoot 6 years ago and that's apparently caused her all the trouble.
