Big B's surgery turns successful :Cinejwala:

Amitabh Bachchan underwent a minor stomach surgery yesterday morning at Mumbai's Seven Hills Hospital. Doctors admitted that Amitabh's surgery was successful. The news was apparently confirmed by megastar's son, actor Abhishek Bachchan. 'Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. The surgery went off well and dad is now in the room resting,' posted Abhishek on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Big B was hospitalized yesterday morning and the actor went under knife sharp at 9.00 A.M. The operation lasted for about three hours. Later, the 69-year-old was shifted to palatial suite that comprised of two guest rooms with beds, cyber and study room. Big B was undergoing severe abdominal pain post his flick 'Coolie' shooting where the actor had met with major accident.
