Mouna Guru - Tamil Movie Review

a sensible and sensitive film

Story
Arulnidhi had a perfect launch with ‘Vamsam’ directed by ‘Pasanga’ Pandiraj. His next outing ‘Udhayan’ was not so well received and the tall actor was so desperate to have a hit. ‘Mouna Guru’ fulfills it.

The film revolves around college students, Arulnidhi who remains as a silent youngster bursts out when the law enforcement goes against the wrong side. That's when the film takes a twist, then many bad incidents comes in his way.

At one point he becomes physically broken, then how he overcomes is the end of the story.

Performance
Arulnidhi has portrayed his anger, emotions with silence as the title says. He essays the title role and remains as it. This is matured subject and the actor has performed well.

Iniya who scored in Vaagai Sooda Vaa has show cased her acting skills well in Mouna guru. Also other characters in the movie has done their job well.

Technicalities
Santhakumar, the director has put all his best efforts in his debut venture and he has proved that he is a good filmmaker. His script and narration says it all.Music by Thaman. This young man is silently climbing his career ladder with good tunes and careful compositions. MaheshMuthusamy’s camera is another plus to the movie.

The movie is produced by Arulnidhi’s home production, his father as producer under the banner Mohana Movies.

Verdict:
A superb action thriller and Arulnidhi fits in the character of a silent young man turning the red-eyed angry man.Iniya of ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’ fame gives an understanding performance.
