Mani Ratnam begins work:Cinejwala:

Acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam seems to have started work for his next movie tentatively titled Pookadai.

Supposedly a romantic entertainer set in fisherfolk, the movie stars Goutham, spon of yesteryear actor Karthik. Mani Ratnam had shot a photo session with him recently and was mightily impressed with his looks.

Meanwhile Vairamuthu had penned a couple of songs that were tuned by A R Rahman for the movie much recently.
