Is Dostana 2 on cards?:Cinejwala:

It was earlier reported that 2008’s Biggest Blockbuster, ‘Dostana’ would be having sequel. Even producer Karan Johar was keen on the sequel of ‘Dostana’. The lead actors that were in the original, Abhishekh Bachchan and John Abraham also were confirmed to do the sequels. Apparently the director of the film, Tarun Mansukhani threw few starry tantrums by hiking price, which did not go well with producer Karan Johar.

And so Karan had to drop the idea of the sequel. Even the lead actors felt that Tarun is the only person who could bring an interesting script to the sequel as he did in the original. Even Katrina Kaif was finalized by replacing Priyanka Chopra. As of now, Karan is no mood to have the sequel for ‘Dostana’.
