KJo rubbishes the rumours of making K3G sequel:Cinejwala:

Film maker Karan Johar has rubbished the reports of making a sequel of his most ambitious, memorable and successful piece of work, ’Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. The film was a blockbuster hit of year 2000. Karan had a personal attachment to this film as the filmmaker worked along with his late father, Yash Johar for this flick.

Karan even dedicated this film to his parents Hiroo Johar and Yash Johar. Karan had also titled the movie as the ‘Pillar of Dharma’ that is the name of his home
production. However, he is no mood to plan a sequel for the multi starrer film. Many fans were expecting to see the hit pair of Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol and the hottest ex-flames of the B’town- Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor back on screen.

Karan reveals that K3G is a unique film that can be once in a lifetime and therefore he cannot recreate it again. K3G starred Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Jaya Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
