Indian show at Dubai Film Fest:Cinejwala:

The International Film Festival kicked off in Dubai in a grand manner. Interestingly the Indian film personalities hogged all limelight at the festival where Tamil movie Maidhanam was selected for screening.

Oscar winner A R Rahman becomes the first musician to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award at DIFF. He is also the youngest recipient of the honour.

South Indian directors Mani Ratnam along with Ashutosh Gowariker are the other Indians to receive lifetime achievement awards.
