‘Heroine’ Kareena Kapoor not guilty:Cinejwala:

Bollywood’s light eyed beauty Kareena Kapoor is currently shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious film ‘Heroine’. The film was originally offered to Kareena but after she refused it for some reasons, it went to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who later had to leave it due to her pregnancy. And hence that is how it once again bounced back to Kareena who now signed the film on her own set of conditions. Howsoever Kareena does not feel guilty of refusing and then accepting the same film. She clearly quoted that ‘Heroine’ was always important for her but the situation before and now were different. It has never been that she accepted the film just because Ash accepted it at some point of time.

Kareena in her justification recently quoted, "Actors do a film on the basis of a script that comes their way instead of thinking about whether it had reached another actor or that actor is doing it or not." She further didn’t forget to mention that she was the director’s first choice, "Also, let's not forget that Madhur had offered this film first to me as good as one and a half years ago. When I couldn't do it, he went ahead with someone else”. Sounding extremely optimistic Kareena further stated “The fact that Madhur came to me again and I am doing it because it is a great film is all that matters."  Point noted Ms. Kapoor!!!
