Surya and Sharukh Khan inaugurate Film Festival:Cinejwala:
Actor Sharukh Khan will inaugurate the 42nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa 2011, to be held from 23 November to 3 December. The closing ceremony would be attended by Surya.
He would be joined by international celebrities such as French filmmaker Luc Besson and international action super actor Michelle Yeoh.The inaugural ceremony will be held for the first time at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.
'The 42nd IFFI, Goa 2011, which is billed as the festival of change, seeks to bring in novelty into the concept of the festival and is a work of transition,' Festival Director Shankar Mohan said.
Art director Thota Tharani has designed the concept of this year's festival. The event will begin with the screening of Portuguese filmThe Consul of Bordeaux,directed by Francisco Manso and Joao Correa.
The festival will screen more than 100 movies from 65 countries.
