Veteran Director Priyadarshan is Honoured
Veteran director Priyadarshan has been apointed as the chairman of the Chalachitra Academy in Kerala.
The order was issued on Monday evening in Thiruvananthapuram. Priyadarshan, 54, succeeds eminent director K R Mohan as head of the Academy.
One of the nationally acclaimed directors from Kerala, Priyadarshan has made films in various Indian languages since he started his career in Malayalam in 1984. His offbeat film Kanchivaram was adjudged the best feature film at the 2008 National Film Awards.
He is a name to reckon with in Bollywod too making films with al top artistes including Priayadharshan.
