Nila Met The Director General of Police

Nila aka Meera Chopra met the DGP of Haryana and explained her side of the story on a death case. ‘The recent media reports on her had upset Meera Chopra. Hence she chose to call on the Director General of Police and gave her representation,’ sources close to the actress were quoted as saying.

The Gurgaon police on Saturday issued notice to Meera Chopra, who has been dragged into a murder case. The cops have also started searching for her in connection with the murder of a woman, who is the wife of the actress’s alleged boyfriend.

The deceased, Ruchi Bhuttan was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her posh DLF City house. While victim Ruchi’s in-laws claimed it was suicide, her relatives suspected foul play and blamed her husband Sumit Bhuttan.

According to Gurgaon Police Commissioner S S Deswal, Ruchi's sister Priti has alleged that Sumit was having an affair with Meera Chopra, and was pressurising her sister for a divorce, which her sister was opposed to.
