For those politicians, who think that every voter is just a 'Common Man', here comes the punch of that citizen. Factory workers have shown the power of their unity by restricting an MLA and making him run from the scene.
Yesterday, a massive chemical explosion broke out at Nagarjuna Agro Chemicals in Srikakulam district. It is feared that more than 10 persons might have charred to death in this incident while authorities denying any such. Etcherla constituency Congress MLA Meesala Neelakantam Naidu has encountered a shocker from the factory workers when he visited the site yesterday in the evening. Workers have accused MLA of coming late and shouted slogans demanding him to go back. A feared MLA took the help of police to escape from the scene and the workers also chased him for a couple of meters until his car vanished from site.
Reports say that many politicians are having a share in that factory which failed to maintain proper safety standards, which led to this dangerous explosion. Anyways, this is a clear eye opener for politicians who are neglecting their constituency people aka 'common man', say analysts.
