Varalakshmi is the star-kid of Tamil hero Sarath Kumar who is all set to rock the silver screen with her debut flick. She is debuting alongside hero Simbu in upcoming movie 'Poda Podi'. According to reports, the film deals with the story of a teenage girl who gets unwanted pregnancy and then delivers a girl child in the first half. Second half of the movie is about how she deals life with that child and uncaring husband.
Trade experts say that to stand up as a commercial heroine one should not experiment with these risk subjects during debut. Till date, Hema Malini's daughter Esha Deol, Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam Kapoor and Kamal's daughter Shruti Hasan haven't scored a point with art-flicks though they are born starlets.
