The incident of a teacher gagging a girl student's mouth with a tape for talking in the class is severely condemned by many people. But our Andhra Pradesh's popular daily has used to joke on the government.
A school girl studying class IX in Hyderabad's old city was made to wear a tape on her mouth for a day long as she is caught talking in the class. As the corporal punishment is too much for a young girl, her parents have lodged a complaint against principal and teacher. One of our AP newspapers has used this incident to joke on the ruling party.
The joke merely asks a person looking like Chief Minister to call that principal into party as there are so many people in the party whose mouths should be shut with tapes.
Off course, the joke's intention is clearly understood but using a ghastly incident to knock political opponents is not going smooth with many. Rather expressing sympathy for the girl, highlighting the principal is how far correct?
