The rift between Nandamuri family is said to be the main reason. Nani is of the opinion that Balayya has chosen the Gudiwada constituency to contest in 2014 polls to checkmate his close friend Jr NTR. If Balakrishna is firm on his decision, then Nani will be left with no option but to move to adjacent constituency. However, Nani who served as Gudiwada MLA twice is not ready to leave his constituency at an cost. So, he has chosen the other path.
Although Nani has stated that he will held a press meet the very next day after meeting party chief Chandrababu, nothing of that sort has happened.
