In a survey conducted in Pakistan, citizens felt that India is a bigger threat than Taliban and Al Qaeda. Six in ten Pakistanis felt that India is threat to them as they feel that Indians are always having a negative opinion towards them.
While negative opinion is prevailing among Pakistan in many countries across the globe, Pak is the only country having negative feeling on India. Since 2009, Pakistan has identified India as a top threat than any other terrorist outfit. However, 54% people opted for better relations with India in 2011 and the percentage has now reached to 62% in 2012. Two thirds of Pak's people want to improve bilateral ties with India. Results for the survey in Pakistan are based on 1,206 face-to-face interviews of adults conducted March 28 to April 13, 2012.
On the flip side, around 60% of Indians are also having negative opinion towards Pakistan. Countries like China, Japan and Muslim nations like Egypt and Jordan are also having negative feeling towards Pak. The survey is conducted by Pew Research Centre's Global Attitudes Project.
