After huge speculations about whether Bodyguard sequel will take off like Dabangg 2, the makers recently cleared the air by making a formal announcement with a green signal. The sources close to the film however, have revealed more than what meets the eye is- probability of Kareena out of the sequel.
Director-producer Atul Agnihotri, also the brother-in-law of Salman Khan said, " We are in the process of making a sequel which will meet the expectations Bodyguard has created amongst the audience. It's surely going to be an out of box venture which can be full of surprises in terms of star cast. Thus, additions and subtractions are bound to surface but Salman will surely be a part of as we can't imagine the film without him."
So, does that mean Kareena too may have to have to bid good bye? "As I said, since the sequel will be an original script unlike Bodyguard, which was a South Indian remake, it will undergo tremendous changes. Same goes for Kareena," he said.
When probed about Salman's special inclination towards home production courtesy Sher Khan, Dabangg 2 and now Bodyguard 2 in a row post Yash Raj's Ek Tha Tiger, he quickly replied, "Well, we deserve his undivided attention as we have never disappointed in all these years. We have slogged a lot to make our dreams come true. If we enjoy work in the family, why do we need to move out."
Point taken Mr. Agnihotri! All we can say is long live this family bond and success continue to come your way.
