Salman - Shah Rukh enmity has reached its second phase, with Salman leaving no opportunity to pass nasty comments on Shah Rukh Khan. What started at Mukesh Ambani's party, where quite apparently, rather than praising Sachin he ended up bringing people’s attention to himself by passing indirect comments on SRK and Don 2. About anyone trying to break Sachin’s record, the actor compared Sachin's record with Don and said, “Jaise Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin namumkin hai, waise Sachin ka record todna bhi namumkin hai.” This statement left the the guests present inside at room in splits. To tone down the sarcasm, Salman further explained by saying that his father wrote that line for a film starring Amitabh Bachchan and he had every right to use it.
At an event on Monday afternoon, Shah Rukh Khan was asked to comment on the Salman's statement and this is what SRK had to say, “Good I didn’t go for the Ambani’s party, as all the negative stories came out of it.” Further commenting on Salman’s comment, SRK said, “It wasn’t a good comment.” Simultaneously, Salman held a press conference to unveil his new identity as the brand ambassador of a travel portal and when questioned about SRK calling his comment "not a good comment, he promptly said, “Those were good comments. My father didn’t have a problem with me reciting his dialogues.” Salman seemed quite tongue in cheek in talking about the episode and he clearly meant that SRK should not feel insulted or offended as he's nobody to feel that way!
Now, the ball is in SRK’s court and it will interesting to see how he plays it.
