After the two blistering knocks (133 runs against Srilanka in Australia and 183 runs against Pakistan in Bangladesh), the brand value of Virat Kohli has skyrocketed.
Kohli used to charge Rs 1 crore a year ago, but now his endorsement fee went over Rs. 3 crore per brand annually. He is currently endorsing nearly 10 brands and will be signing another 3 to 4 brands soon. The brands were trying to renew the endorsement contract.
Dhoni and Sachin were the only cricketers who were ahead of Kohli. Dhoni has been charging nearly Rs. 10 crore per brand annually, after the winning the World Cup. He is one of the biggest brand endorsers in the Country on par with Bollywood stars Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
