Off course, the party with only single manifesto of getting separate state has a big won in the by-polls. Same is the case with much hyped YSR Congress of Jagan. But, the statistics behind the votes polled are telling a different story altogether, say analysts.
When TRS scored whopping win in 2010 by-polls, it is clear that they are the only party that supported 'Telangana' and others are unclear about their strategy. Now, with all parties blowing the T-pipe, the votes polled have split between all. This clearly indicates that TRS is losing the faith of people. While there is 5% increase in the votes polled for Congress, TRS lost a seat in Mahbubnagar. Same is the case with Jagan who had won with a record majority in Kadapa by-poll in 2010 for the seat of late YSR. His record of 70% votes in Kadapa election has fallen to 30% in Kovur recently.
Analysts are saying that people started realizing about these parties and the percentage of votes they get in 2014 elections will come to zero. With voters turning brilliant, anything may happen in the state!
