TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday made sensational comments saying that there is threat to his life from anonymous people.
"We should be very cautious. I recently heard that someone wants to kill me and Harish Rao using crude bombs. Birth and death are in the hands of God and no one could do much about it. We are ready for anything and wouldn't rest untill the Telangana state is formed," said KCR, addressing the party workers.
In the wake of the by-elections on March 18, KCR's comments can be seen as an ploy to woo the voters by giving an impression that he is committed for the bifurcation of the state. The initial reports indicate that TRS will win in five constituencies out of six constituencies where the by-elections are going to be held in the Telangana region.
