The Saif Ali Khan-Bebo clash

Relax, it is all professional. A healthy professional clash. Everybody knows by now that the upcoming Saif-Kareena starrer ‘Agent Vinod’ has two item songs to boast of apart from, of course, a lot more. But what is really surprising and intriguing about these item songs is the fact that these two are filmed over real life sweethearts Saif and Kareena respectively. And hence, the rivalry vibes are bound to be exuded, at least subconsciously.

Firstly, the Kareena song is actually a Mujra named ‘DIl Mera Muft Ka’ where she has gone back to the traditional India moves with panache. The song is already a chartbuster due to its uniqueness. Whereas, the Chhote Nawab has danced to an instantly catchy number ‘Pyaar Ki Pungi’ in the movie, which according to most, is the better of the two. People across the country have been heard humming the song due to its tongue-in-cheek lyrics and groovy music. Reportedly, the music director of the movie Pritam Chakraborty is said to be delighted by the response of the masses to the tracks.

So the question that automatically arises from the equation is who will overshadow whom in terms of popularity. The answer may well be debatable, but there is no question to the fact that it is a win-win situation for the movie. ‘Agent Vinod’ is releasing on March 23 and stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. The movie is directed by Sriram Raghavan.
