Music Director Hamsalekha New Attempt

Known for some new experiments every now and then national award winning music director from Kannada cinema Hamsalekha has worked out on ‘Rafi Returns’.

Hamsalekha is strongly contemplating on bringing the Mohammad Rafi songs to Kannada in quite a different way. He has the support of two vital persons to this big task – Dr SP Balasubramanyam and ace lyricist Jayanth Kaikini. Already Mohammad Rafi sung songs written to Kannada have been tried out from young crop of singers in ‘Edhe Thumbi Haduvenu’. Such songs will be brought out in albums.

The idea in Hamsalekha cropped up to increase the ‘Shruti Gnana’ in children. Mohammad Rafi is ‘Shruthi Brahma’. With such a doyen singer we attempted with children from the songs he has sung.
The songs of Mohammad Rafi = Chaunga Mai Tuje….Ehsaan Tera Hoga…Khoya Khoya Chand….Bahut Shukuria….Dil Jo Na Kehsaka….Bekhudhi Me Sanam….Huyi Sham Uska Khayal Agaya….Gulabhi Ankeh…are ready with Kannada lyrics and tunes remain the same.

This will be new trend setter in Kannada film music hopes the trio Hamsalekha, Dr SPB and Jayanth Kaikini.
