Comedy Hero Jaggesh Sings 'Rathnan Pada'

famous comedy hero Jaggesh known for his terrific voice and modulation of it in over 135 films he has acted rarely sung for the films. Jaggesh has learnt the basics of Hindustani music and singing he has not taken seriously for his films.

Recently for ‘Bodyguard’ he rendered the folk song Mante Swamy….the song was quite popular in the album. Now Jaggesh has picked the famous ‘Rathnan Pada’ of GP Rajarathnam for his film ‘Manjunatha BA LLB’. Jaggesh plays the half drunkard in the film and ‘Rathnan Pada’ in Kannada literature is very famous for it.
Rathnan Pada was first familiarized on silver screen by super star Upendra in ‘A’ Kannada film in 1998. He picked the song Helkonduru Talemyage Ondsuru….Malagakke Bhumthayi Mancha…..in the haunting of Gurukiran and Chandini debut in that film ‘A’ – a fine opening for director Upendra so far as actor from that film.

One of the super hit songs of the light music field of late P Kalinga Rao – Brahma Ninge Jodisthini Henda Muttidh Kaina…..is retuned for ‘Manjunatha BA LLB’ by music director Vinay Chandra.

The song was recorded at Rajesh Ramanath Studio recently by the music director.
