Will Deepika Padukone signs for Top Director's next?

Now the Shankar is looking for next biggie project. Yes, he is considering Padukone for his next film opposite Vikram.

The Bangalore girl, who is making her debut in magnum opus Kochadaiyaan, has reportedly been approached by the great director Shankar.

Deepika’s spokesperson too refused to confirm this development because talks are still in the very early stage. However, our source adds, "Deepika is kicked about being considered by Shankar, the man who gave Aishwarya megahits like Jeans (1998) and Robot.
Meanwhile, there are many speculations on the lead actor of the upcoming Tamil film. While some say that Surya will be starring in the film and others believe that Vikram, who had worked with Shankar in Anniyan, will be teaming up with the maverick filmmaker again.

This is slated to be a trilingual to be made in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The talks are said to be on between Deepika and Shankar.
