Mopidevi In Neck Deep Troubles

Though the current excise minister is escaping each and every scam in his way, scams are not escaping from him. Today, he is summoned by the CBI to attend before officials in connection with Jagan's illegal assets case.

During YSR regime, Mopidevi Venkataramana worked as Industrial Infrastructure minister responsible for allocating various SEZ lands to Jagan and co. Already, Supreme Court served notices to Mopidevi in connection with the GOs that permitted Jagan and co to do the unlawful. Mopidevi has to attend before CBI much before, but the minister avoided it citing busy with personal work and election campaigns.

However, there is no presence of Mopidevi in the finished by-polls and the whole drama looks like something to avoid CBI. Earlier, Mopidevi was accused in the Liquor Syndicate scam and CM Kiran came to his rescue. Now that he is getting deeper into troubles, one has to see how he will face opposition.
