The 100th International Century will be a big relief for the little master Sachin Tendulkar, who is under tremendous pressure for sometime now.
"Well, I obviously can't think anything at this stage. It's been a tough year for me. Specially tough, when you know, I started off the season batting reasonably well, batted well in Australia and felt at times I was luck-less. Doesn't matter how many hundreads you score, you still have to put your head down and do the job for the team," said Sachin, after he scored the 100th ton.
Where you thinking about the milestone? "I wasn't, to be honest! A year ago, When I got my 99th hundred during the World Cup, nobody spoke about it. And then, I guess the media that started all this. Wherever I went, to restaurant, house keeping, room service - whoever met me spoke about the 100th hundred. It became little difficult mentally, because I'm not playing only for my 100th hundred. Nobody was talking about the 99 hundreds I had scored. Everyone was talking about the 100th hundred. Everyone had their opinions, but eventually I got to do what is important for the team," he told.
Responding on the unbreakable record of 100 centuries, Sachin said,"100th hundred hasn't been sunk in yet, but I definitely lost about 50 kilos." Message to the kids who want to become Sachin Tendulkar? "Enjoy the game and chase your dreams. I think, Dreams do come true. I have to wait for one dream for 22 years - we won the World Cup after 22 years. So, don't stop chasing the dreams," he concluded.
