The child artist Krishna, who acted in Anjali, Iruvar and The Terrorist, is all set to earn big bucks in Kollywood.
His forthcoming flick, Kazhugu, directed by debutant Sathyasiva is said to be a romantic thriller.
Krishna says that the story is called Kazhugu because the movie talks about the lives of the men who recover dead bodies of suicide victims who jump off the cliff.
So, did the shooting involve gory incidents? Krishna says, “The beauty is that we talk about the lives of these men without having to visually portray the gory scenes.”
Because the story is set in the forests of Munnar, the project required the actors to spend a lot of time in the wilderness. Krishna says, “Meeting real people involved in similar activities was spooky.
They would casually talk about carrying a dead body up from the bottom of the cliff and narrate incidents of ghosts calling out to them.”
Krishna says that the movie helped him understand the nuances of relationships. He says, “We explored how these men react to family and love, and how it affects their lives.”
About future projects, he says, “I want to wait and see how the audience react to this film and then arrive at a decision accordingly.”
