Mayawati's assets skyrocketed during her chief ministerial tenure in Uttar Pradesh (UP) from Rs 52 crore in 2007 to Rs 111.64 crore.
She declared her assets when she filed her nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha polls in Lucknow on Tuesday. Post declaring her assets, she tagged as one of the richest politicians in the country.
Above data has been revealed in the details of moveable and immoveable assets declared by Mayawati in addition with a sworn affidavit while filing her nomination papers, in which immovable assets worth Rs 96.38 crore and movable over Rs 15.26 crore have been registered.
Also, with Rs 10.20 lakh cash in hand, BSP Chief has around Rs 14 crore in five bank accounts, two residential buildings, one each in Delhi and Lucknow.
Amazingly, she has not taken any life insurance policy so far and does not own any vehicle but own a revolver. She also mentioned her academic details in the affidavit. She graduated from Kalindi College, Delhi University in 1975, completed B.Ed from Meerut University in 1976. In 1983, she did LL.B from Delhi University.
