National award winning actor-producer-director Prakash Raj will be returning to Kannada films after working in films like Naanu Nanna Kanasu, Rajadhani and Puttakkana Highway.
Both NNK and Puttakkana Highway were produced under his own banner. Now, he will be working in Yogaraj Bhat directed Drama which is starting its shoot in the first week of March.
Yash and Radhika Pandit have been chosen to play lead roles in the film which will also have Neenasam Sathish and Pragna in other important roles.
Yogaraj Bhat was in Chennai recently met Prakash Raj to give a brief about the story of Drama.
According to the director, Prakash plays a pivotal role in the film. “Even Prakash felt happy about his role and told me that he will be available for the film. I am known to Prakash for many years and I wrote a song for two films produced by him.
But we did not get an opportunity to work together. “When I started writing the dialogues for the film, I decided to expand one role and when I started thinking about it I realised that only Prakash Raj could handle this role”, said Yogaraj Bhat.
Bhat is also happy about the music composition done so far for the film.
“We are trying to have something fresh in this film. A good mix of folk and melody. I am sure it would be a good album”, said Bhat.
Suchayeendra Prasad is playing another important role in the film.
