At the audio launch of the film, Ganja Kootam, comedian, Vivek, remarked that there are two superheroes in the Tamil film industry. He said that on was the undisputed Ranjikanth and the other was a lesser known, albeit as important a star — Humour.
Vivek said that if humour is properly used in a film the flick will be a sure shot success. He added, “I am happy that unlike other filmmakers who opt for actors from neighbouring states, director Diwakar, has introduced Tamil girls and boys to the industry. It is the content that defines a film.”
Vivek pointed out that hard work and perseverance never lets anyone down.
Recalling an incident he said, “There was a time when my mentor, veteran K. Balachandar sir would wonder if he would eve be able to step into the A.V.M. Studios. Today he has won the highest film honour, the Dada Saheb Phalke Award.”
Directors, Kalanjiam and Radha Bharathi, and actresses, Liya Sree and Ashmitha, were among others who were present at the event.
