UTV denies rumors of acquiring 'Dabangg 2' rights :Cinejwala:

Reportedly, UTV Motion Pictures has denied reports of bagging rights of Salman Khan starrer one of the biggest blockbuster hit of 2011 'Dabangg'. Apparently, few reports suggested that the production house has bagged the rights of the second installment of the 'Dabangg' franchise at Rs. 140 crores.  The production house has now circulated a press release which quotes that it has not yet bagged 'Dabangg's rights and if they plan to do so they would make an official announcement soon for the media.

'Dabanng 2' is an action packed comedy flick that features Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead along with South superstar Prakash Raj who is roped in to play a negative role. The film would be produced by Salman's brother actor Arbaaz Khan. It is about to go on the floors by March and will hit the silver screens by December.
