The process of Chiranjeevi's celebrated Praja Rajyam Party merger with Congress started almost a year ago and is unfinished yet. Yes, officially PRP is still not merged into Congress though they got the promised minister posts for their MLAs!
Still, the speaker of assembly is to receive a letter from the Praja Rajyam Party about their merger into the congress, to make it technically valid. However, the delay in sending this letter is said to be a strategic move by the PRP leaders. The secret behind this is the sitting position (row) of Chiranjeevi in the assembly. Currently, Chiru is sitting in the first row of seats as the he is the floor leader of Praja Rajyam Party.
Once if the merger is made valid, then Chiru should resort to the last row of seats which he don't want to do at this point of time. Sources say, this is the last time we will be seeing Chiru in assembly as Tirupathi MLA as the Congress wants him to move to Rajya Sabha in the upcoming RS elections. Behind every 'political' move, there is a 'deadly' idea that is not at all useful to the public!
