Rajanikanth is 'Pavada Purusha' - Ashok :Cinejwala:

One of the very close friends of Tamil super star, icon Rajanikanth – Ashok speaking at the ‘Belli Hejje’ as chief guest at Badami House disclosed that his ever loving friend is ‘Pavada Purusha’. Rajani is very straightforward and he is always soft in his heart. The growth of such a personality is fantastic development of this human life. He has not given up simplicity in his life and I know from close quarters. He is a ‘Mahan Purusha’ – the lavishness never touched him. The patience did not break in him. I have seen such qualities in Dr Rajakumar mentioned Ashok the veteran actor of Kannada cinema with over four decades of stint in the industry.

Take a look at some of the observations of Ashok at the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy organized ‘Belli Hejje’ at Badami House on lat Saturday.

· Directors of today are at the mercy of actors.

· There is no value for some of the directors, technicians and co artists are looked poorly.

· The days of all sitting together and applying mind for the good quality of cinema.

· If one film is a failure the same team was working for the success of next film. That was the unity expressed and humanity maintained.

· How much money I get is the only look out today.

· Despite of image building exercise of the hero most of the films are facing crushing defeat.

· The heroes are growing financially but cinema industry as a whole is weakening day by day.

· I had no intentions of becoming a doctor of engineer when I was young. I thought of becoming an actor and that happened in 1971.

· In Seshagiri Rao’s ‘Hennu Samsaradha Kannu’. Sridevi was the heroine. It is Kranthiyogi Basavanna Kannada film on the 12th century reformer given me complete satisfaction.

· The expected film did not bring results. At that time I was aware of the cinema workers problems. I have been associated with cinema workers federation since 25 years.

· As President of Karnataka Cinema Workers Federation many progressive tasks have been taken up.

· As a hero I did not live long on silver screen. I don’t repent for it.

· I do not agree to the comment that I copied Dr Rajakumar in my acting style. Dr Rajakumar is an inspirer for so many and even for me too. The reason to come to cinema is Dr Rajakumar films.

· I strictly oppose dubbing. I support remake films. In remake they bring only the story. The work is assured for our cinema workers.

· Even for remake film makers what I would say is that the nativity, our life and culture should not be given a go.

· I entered politics. I have not got a proper status. I agree to it but no repentance for it. I am just an artist. I am not a super star. Politics attach importance to caste, money and power of a person.
