Lakshmikant-Pyarelal for Award!!

The legendary music director Lakshmikant-Pyarelal is well known duo in the Indian film music. Pyare Lal is living today and he has Karnataka connections. His wife Sunila is from Ranebennur of Northern Karnataka.

With many coveted awards and unforgettable films Pyarelal often comes to Karnataka and he is also quite familiar with Kannada language.

In his recent visit to Bengaluru Pyarelal disclosed that he is instituting music award and it will at a music concert he is organizing in May this year. Pyarelal has thought of organizing
150 singers from India at one platform at a musical evening in Bengaluru and pay tribute to his departed friend Lakshmikanth in a grand style. The local singers from Karnataka will also be given prominence on that ‘Lakshmikant-Pyarelal’ musical evening. The best singers will be honored on this occasion with ‘Lakshmikant-Pyarelal’ award.

The duo Lakshmikant Pyarelal became super hit in 1957 and carried out a long innings in Hindi film music. Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Shore are all time favorite discloses Pyarelal.
